It is not realistic to expect the one service technician to be an expert in mechanical and electronics for one of the most sophisticated machine tool product ranges offered to the Australian market, so we approach it as follows. Remote Diagnostics
The majority of the more sophisticated machinery being installed in Australia have remote diagnostics included with the machine. This is proving to be very useful for diagnostics on the machine tool and application support from the factory. The advantages of remote diagnostics is if the factory can determine if parts are required to be sent to your machine so the electronic technician can follow the factory installation instructions if they can not be solved remotely from the factory. Remote diagnostics is also beneficial when there are staff changes and remote application support and training is necessary to ensure your machine capacity is being utilised.
