Union P/PC/PCU 150 Travelling Column Boring & Milling Machine
The UNION PR 150 RAM-type machine in traveling-column design features a horizontal boring, drilling and milling machine for heavy-duty machining of large-size parts with a working envelope of 5 x 25 m.
The RAM ensures plunging into large housing parts of up to 1600 mm in depth and is equipped with a multifunctional sag compensation.
It is ideal for the reception of vertically and universally pivoting milling heads, 2 NC-axes milling attachments, NC facing heads and special tools to be docked manually or automatically or deposited in a pick-up station.
So, multi-sided and contour machining is ensured and, in association with rotary, positioning, and tilting tables of various sizes and loads permitting floating cycles between parts of various sized.
This machine is one of the latest and most universal production means in a mechanical production system.
